Volunteers of all kinds are needed to for the Help Restore Hope Center to be able to reach the most survivors that require services!  Being a volunteer and giving the gift of time is one of the most rewarding activities.  The Center accepts volunteers of all different backgrounds, and one does not need to be a survivor themselves to apply. All are welcome to apply.  There are three basic volunteer opportunities available:

  • Hotline Volunteer - assists with the on-call schedule for the Center’s 24/7 hotline
  • Ambassador Volunteer – helps represent the resources offered by the Center through attending local wellness fairs or sharing resources at local places
  • Speaker’s Bureau – volunteers with positive and powerful stories of transformation speak at events booked though the Center to help boost violence awareness in the community.

If you need more information to help you decide whether you'd be interested in volunteering, feel free to contact the HRHC Program Supervisor @ 1-315-363-0048 ext. 2134.  You can also fill out the volunteer application here.
